mary window headshot Mary Fillery has been named to the 2013 Pro Bono Publico Honor Roll for her outstanding service to the community.  This honor recognizes Mary’s remarkable efforts in providing pro bono services to litigants in the Court of Common Pleas or Municipal Court.

Mary lends her time and legal prowess at Face to Face in Germantown, an organization dedicated to lifting Germantown residents beyond crushing poverty.  From its 1985 beginnings as a soup  kitchen, Face to Face has grown to include a nurse managed Health Center, a Social Services Center, a Legal Center, a Neighborhood Arts Studio and a Summer Camp program.  In addition, it provides a  restaurant-style dining room where folks can socialize over a cup of coffee while they wait for a meal.

At Face to Face, Mary puts her top-notch legal skills to work helping guests with housing, employment, financial, and healthcare litigation offering dignity, compassion, and a sense of community to  residents.

Congratulations, Mary.  Well done.
